I regret that I could not attend Victor's memorial. He was a good friend to me, one of the best. I met him at the soup kitchen in 2004. After he retired from that service, we had lunch on average once a month, and we talked many times. What a pleasure to hear his stories (he was such a good story-teller) about his family and family history. He was very proud of his grandchildren.

I was very lucky to have known Victor. I will miss him a lot.

Victor and family.
I'm so sorry. Your dad was an amazing man. I remember him from my folks' days in Litchfield 40 plus years ago, when they were neighbors and friends. He was engaging, energetic, well-spoken and passionate about the many areas that interested him. And then reconnecting with him through my mom in Brunswick many years later.
A force as strong as he was will leave a gaping hole in many lives I'm sure.
I wish you comfort and support in the loss of your dad.

Dear Victor and family: I just learned of the death of your father. Please accept my sincere sympathy. I only met him once or twice at a Kiwanis event. It is not easy to have your parent leave this world after always having them here. I hope there are good memories that will bring you comfort.
